Who? Mickey Avalon..White Boy Killin' It

Mickey Avalon (born Yeshe Perl on December 3, 1975) is a rap/hip hop humorist artist from Hollywood, California. His debut self-titled solo album was released Nov. 7, 2006 on Interscope/Shoot to Kill Records in association with MySpace Records. Avalon blends dark, lewd, and humorous hooks with heavy beats., and frequent topics of Avalon's songs are his experiences with substance abuse.

His family upbringing was tumultuous and both he and his parents used drugs.[1] Avalon's paternal grandparents are Holocaust survivors; both endured lasting injuries from their imprisonment at Auschwitz. By his early 20s, he had married, had a daughter, shaved his beard and moved to Portland, Oregon, where he turned to prostitution, giving hand jobs to fund a raging heroin habit.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, he was befriended by ex-MTV VJ Simon Rex (aka Dirt Nasty) who encouraged Avalon to rap and collaborated with him making beats. The two began passing out demos to Hollywood clubs and soon developed a following among fans of the Los Angeles nightclub scene.

In recent years Avalon toured internationally, appeared on an episode of The Simple Life, and appeared in a Boost Mobile commercial with Young Jeezy and Jermaine Dupri. He is currently working with Travis Barker of +44 on his new album.

Avalon's song "My Dick" (also featuring Dirt Nasty and Andre Legacy) was featured in the 2008 movie Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay.

Mickey Avalon in Action

Mickey Avalon is selling out shows all over. The kids love him, the ladies are clawing to dance on stage with him. He brings a brand of hip-hop/hip-pop that will have you laughing out loud and moving your ass. He's raunchy, a former junkie and prostitute. He'll boast about, he'll tell you about his "freaky hooker mojo". He's out of control and everyone loves it.

In one of his stage shows in LA, Mickey blasted out raps like “I used to work nights at HotCock.com/but then I got fired/when my mom logged on” amid onstage mayhem that included lap dances and the pouring of PatrĂ³n straight from the bottle into the gaping gullets of questionably legal blondes.

This year's Midwest Music Summit has him, and it's gonna be huge. Trust. Wristbands are going fast, we only have 2000 total. It gets you into every showcase you want to see, it's a bargin you can't pass up. Buy them now for only $20!

Mickey Avalon is a troubled addict and an unquestionable skank, but a shockingly gifted rap humorist.
